Anna is an actor, teaching artist and director based in Omaha, Nebraska. She holds her Bachelor of Arts in theatre performance and directing from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Anna grew up in the theater, studying classical ballet in her childhood and performing in professional ballets on the Orpheum and Rose Theater stages in Omaha. As a young person, she also lent her voice to the DIC Entertainment syndicated cartoon, Strawberry Shortcake.

She has worked with Nebraska Shakespeare for the past 9 seasons in a range of production roles—appearing in Julius Caesar, The Comedy of Errors, The Tempest, The Compleat Works of William Shakespeare [Abridged], As You Like It, and Much Ado About Nothing, as well as their regional tour of As You Like It and in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (a collaboration with the Omaha Symphony). She has also served as Camp Shakespeare Co-Director for 4 years, and assistant directed MacbethThe Merry Wives of Windsor, and King John. Anna has also been a part of Nebraska Shakespeare’s all-female ensemble, Juno’s Swans, since its inaugural reading of The Taming of the Shrew in 2016. In 2019, Juno’s Swans was brought to the Shakespeare on the Green mainstage for an all-female production of All’s Well That Ends Well.

From 2016-2017, Anna served as actor-educator and lead moderator for RESPECT—a touring educational theatre company that teaches students about healthy relationships and how to stop and prevent bullying. She was also a Disney Musicals in Schools teaching artist with Omaha Performing Arts, helping underserved elementary schools learn how to produce a Disney Kids musical and maintain a musical theatre program, for 3 years.

Most recently, Anna appeared as Nimmee in the Strangemen Theatre Company’s The Woodsman and as Caroline in Lauren Gunderson’s I and You (BLUEBARN Theatre), and directed Darkness Like A Dream, her adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream for the first-ever Omaha Fringe Festival.. Other credits include the titular role in Curious George & the Golden Meatball, Adeline Ravoux in the world premiere of Van Gogh & Me (Omaha Arts and Entertainment Awards nominee, Best Original Script), Winnie the Pooh, (The Rose Theater), and The Cripple of Inishmaan (Brigit St. Brigit Theatre Company). Up next, Anna will appear in Nebraska Shakespeare’s regional tour of Othello, and in the Nebraska Theatre Caravan’s national tour of A Christmas Carol.
